Powertrain and Mechanical

• An OHV (pushrod) engine typically generates low-end torque sooner than an OHC engine of similar size. Peak torque is achieved at a lower RPM in OHV engines than in other designs, providing good acceleration from a stop.

By injecting fuel directly into the combustion chamber, the fuel mixture combines with the heat of compressed air, causing it to burn rapidly. This increases fuel economy and power while reducing noise for a quieter ride with added oomph, thanks to Diesel direct injection.
